Why go with us?
I am an educated tourist guide with good reviews. I only have small groups.

The tour:
Reykjavik - Thingvellir - Gullfoss - Geysir - Fridheimar - Secret Lagoon - Skalholt - Kerid - Reykjavik

What will we do?
I drive and I talk, you listen and ask all kinds of questions, which I will try to answer to show you how intelligent I am trying to be. I might throw in a joke or two, depending on the mood. You will get to see our most treasured locations, all in one day. To top it off, you get to eat the world's best tomato soup at Fridheimar! Then you get to soak in the serene Secret Lagoon. At the end of the day, all of us will be filled with knowledge about Iceland, the Vikings and all of the volcanoes.

How many people do I need to operate this tour?
A minimum of 4 persons is needed for this tour to operate.

The Tour:
We start bright and early by leaving Reykjavik at 8:00 am(hotel pickup starts 30 mins before) and drive out of the city.
We always start by going to Thingvellir, the national park. The site was put on Unesco's world heritage site in 2004. It was at that location where the parliament of Iceland was founded in the year 930. Also, at Thingvellir, you can see very clearly how the tectonic plates affect the terrain and generate this beautiful rift valley. The lake is a phenomenon in it self, so clear that the sunlight can shine 35 meters down which then results in extraordinary beauty under the waters surface.
After a nice stop at Thingvellir, we continue our drive to the queen of all waterfalls in Iceland, Gullfoss. The waterfall has a magnificent 32m/105ft drop. From Gullfoss we drive to Geysir, the extremely hot geysir area. After a nice view of Strokkur's hot water eruption, we head towards Fridheimar tomato farm where we will stop for a nice lunch. Have you ever eaten lunch in a greenhouse where they manufacture 360 tons of tomatoes every year? Now is the chance. Try the world's best tomato soup(per capita) or just order the pasta. For desert, we recommend the tomato ice cream or the tomato apple pie or even the tomato cheesecake or better still, try them all !
Why not take a nice dip into the oldest swimming pool in Iceland, after lunch? Yes, our next stop is the Secret Lagoon. We stop there for 1,5 hours while you soak in the nice hot water and enjoy the nature around. Skálholt is an historical place, where the last catholic bishop in Scandinavia was executed along with his two sons on November 7.th 1550, marking the end of the Catholic religion in Iceland and beginning of the Lutheran state religion. We take a look at the beautiful church and get to know the history of the place and the religion of Iceland.
Kerid is a volcanic crater where it is possible to hike and admire the view from the top. We make a quick stop there before we head back to Reykjavik. Estimated arrival time to Reykjavik is 6:00 pm.
