Description

Before we hit the off-road trails in our natural playground, our guides will teach you how to operate the bikes and discuss safety instructions. Once everyone is geared up and ready to go, we head out for our adventure up to Hafrafjall mountain and beyond. The ATV tour is one full hour out on the trails that cut through the ruggedly beautiful Icelandic landscape. After the tour, we relax, defrost and enjoy a hot cup of coffee then afterwards drop you off at the Gray Line bus station for part two of your excursion.

Begin your adventure at 5pm at your hotel in Reykjavik where the tour picks you up. Drive to basecamp for the ATV portion of the tour and meet your guides.

Before hitting the trails, the guides will teach you how to operate the ATVs and discuss safety instructions. When everyone is geared up and ready to go, ride along the shore of Hafrafjall Mountain before heading up Harafjall Mountain. Follow your guide as you ride through the rugged terrain for about an hour. After the tour, relax and enjoy a hot cup of coffee before the second part of your excursion begins.

Drive out to the countryside to chase the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). Listen to commentary from your experienced guide as you drive away from the city to some of the best places to view this spectacle. Stop to view the most impressive display before heading back to Reykjavik for drop-off at your hotel.
